HEY I'M

AUDREY

I’m a wife, mom, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, dog mom, marathon runner, certified personal trainer, fitness enthusiast, certified running coach, creator, and writer.

Most of you may know me as @audreyy.bowman on Instagram.

I’m so excited you’re here. I’m ready to be the trainer in your corner to empower you to believe in yourself and help you feel strong inside and out.

A little about me...

My name is Audrey. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee with my husband, Quentin, my baby boy, Cooper, and my golden retriever, Hartley!

I grew up in small town Pataskala, Ohio and played all the sports you can think of (dance, basketball, soccer).  I am a huge people person which I think comes from having nine other siblings! I absolutely look up to my parents teaching me to appreciate the small things in life and that there is no hurdle too big for my dreams.

I started running in middle school after not making the volleyball team and had zero idea that would have altered my life forever. I went to college at The University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky on a running scholarship to run Cross Country and Track. I graduated with a bachelors in Public Health and Health, Exercise, and Sports Science.  I initially wanted to work in sport focused physical therapy and got my then dream job working at a Chiropractic office as a certified X-ray tech, PTA, and CTA. There was a major life moment when I knew this wasn’t for me but didn’t know where I would end up.

I started all over and fell into the fitness world in a whole different way. After working at a medically integrated fitness gym, starting my Instagram @runningthealley (now @audreyy.bowman), running a few marathons (even qualifying for Boston twice), becoming a certified running coach, getting my NASM personal training certification, and so much more in between, I’m excited for this next journey with Audrey Bowman Fitness.

Most likely I’ve been where you are somewhere in my fitness journey. I knew how important it was to take an hour to myself during the day. That zone out kind where I could prioritize myself and feel strong. I’ve been a runner for over 17 years with on and off weight training and know when I’m strength training everything changes. Once I had a plan and a direction I made strides in other areas of my life. I know we all want to be the best version of ourselves.

I’ve dreamed of making ABF a reality for over a year. At the beginning of 2020, I made a decision to go all in. I changed my diet, dialed in my training, and made sustainable changes allowing me to be the happiest and strongest I’ve ever been.

Now, after all these years, I’m 110% ready to be a small part of your journey with strength training.
